April 2025 Meetings & Events

Group meetings are on the second Tuesday of each month from 7 – 9pm at Newcastle Dog and Cat Shelter in Longbenton, NE12 8EH. You can view directions from your postcode using the map on the contact page. Our meetings normally include a guest speaker.

  • NDBKA Beginners Course 2025

    Introduction to beekeeping theory, followed by practical ssessions throughout the 20245beekeeping season. First theory session 13th April, second session 27th April : you MUST attend BOTH.

    Practical sessions will be at weekends over the late spring and summer period by arrangement with the group.

    Includes access to our Whatsapp beginners support group.

    Non-members please note: the cost of joining the association and then paying the member’s price may work out cheaper for you! It also entitles you to attend our monthly meetings and other activities as well as the monthly magazine from the BBKA. Please complete a membership form (on our Facebook page , on request from newcastle.beekeepers@gmail.com or here: https://newcastlebeekeepers.co.uk/beekeeper_membership.php ) and pay your NDBKA membership subscription at the same time as you book if you are paying the member’s price and you are not already a member.

Bee Friendly Gardening
